FIVE LITTLE CHICKS FARM
|
Five Little Chicks Farm is a long time dream of owner, Allison Wilson, and her family. With everyone on board, they have been able to turn this dream into reality and are excited to share their love of animals with the town of Weston, Connecticut!
Nestled in the heart of Weston, Five Little Chicks farm sits on two and a half acres of beautiful, wooded farm land, perfect for housing our pigs, chickens, goats and horses. The animals are free to roam safely here at the farm, enjoying their time outdoors and helping us teach the community about the beauty of nature. Five Little Chicks Farm offers summer days, birthday parties, animal education classes, community events and more. To learn more about our upcoming events, visit our Events page below. |
MEET THE ANIMALS
The Heart and Soul of Five Little Chicks Farm
The Ladies
Chickens Five Little Chicks Farm currently has about 40 resident chickens, including breeds such as Rhode Island Reds, Silkies, Polish Hens, Brahmas, Buff Opringtons, Easter Eggers and Barred Plymouth Rocks. Each girl has their own name and you can ask the actual Five Little Chick children just what they are! They are all handled by children daily, lay very well and extremely friendly and comical pets!

Maple Leaf
Juliana Pig Maple Leaf is our Juliana Pig, the smallest of the pig breeds. We can't take credit for the name - she came with it and it fit so well! She is an outdoor pig and even though she looks small, she isn't a mini pig, but the actual true smallest breed. She loves to eat anything, is very smart, does tricks for treats, loves to give kisses and extremely friendly! She is now a year old and black and white in color.
